I am running another 5K today. I don’t feel like it. My allergies have been killing me for the last couple of weeks and today is no sneezing exception. Also, who has a 5K at 5pm? It’s gonna be hotter than blue blazes and I’m gonna be wheezing. Also, I don’t think I like running. I mean, it was fun to have that first 5K goal and train for it and all, but I’m over it. I agreed to do this one the same day I ran the last one and I haven’t been able to get myself motivated for it. Oh, well, I’ll let ya know how it goes and I expect to be joining a gym as soon as I get my next paycheck. I guess it’s time to find a new exercise hobby to entertain me for awhile!
I have had the hiccups for approximately 7 hours.
Matt and I went fishing yesterday and caught nothing. Well, we may have picked up some sand fleas at the river.
I’m reading Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover (which I had to borrow from Garrett because I accidentally bought, and wrote in, the workbook) so you can expect to hear my tales of being broke and trying not to be in the near future. I did really well with money until I started at OSU and it just all fell apart.
I found two things I like a lot this week. Neither of which I can afford, but it’s cute, so I thought I’d share. I got both of these links from the Nester, who has a super-cute home decor blog (why I read that, I have no idea). Back40Life has these fun vinyl-sticker-thingys that you can decorate with and The Vintage Pearl has much more reasonably-priced (finally!) necklaces than some I like from other, more ritzy places that will go unnamed here.
Finally, I would like to tell you about the crazy outfitness happening at the Capitol earlier in the week. Here’s the outfit I had on for a interim study on legal defense used by state agencies: Black and white polka-dot dress, black blazer, pearl necklace, hair pulled halfway back, black knee-high boots. Here’s what the lady who looked like Lilith from Frasier had on: Black and white polka-dot blouse with a black skirt, black blazer, pearl necklace, hair pulled halfway back, black knee-high boots and FISHNETS. Yeah.
